Callings all bikers! Come Join us for a week of mountain biking through some of Randolph 's best trails. The camp will teach the basics of mountain biking, bike maintenance, safety and route finding throughout a wheelie fun week! Camper must be confident on a bike, and familiar with Handle Bar Brakes.Dates: June 22-26: 5-7th Grade - Co-ed Intermediate-Advanced RidersJune 29-July 3rd: 2-5th Grade - Co-ed Beginner-Intermediate RidersAugust 3-7: Girls+ Mountain Bike Camp - 3-7th Grade**July 4th: Optional Riding in the Parade!Camp Hours: 7:45 Drop off begins, Pick-up ends at 4:45Location: Camp Building, 30 Park Street, Randolph, VTOther Details: Days will include skill building, trail riding, exploring maps, afternoon time in the pool, and all sorts of fun arts and activities around the grounds between 26 Prince Street (The Rink), and 25 School Street (Pool/Court Side). Breakfast and Lunch are provided on site. This camp will focus on the following: Body position and balance, braking, climbing and descending techniques, gearing and shifting, trail skills including roll downs and berms, and cornering. The Gear House will be helping with safety checks and bike maintenance throughout the week. Home base of mountain bike camp is at the Recreation Field at 30 Park Street. We'll spend the week exploring the trails, and the town of Randolph strengthening safe riding practices around town in groups.
