Mountain Biking Camps with Ridgeline Outdoor CollectiveCallings all bikers! Come Join us for a week of mountain biking through some Randolph 's best trails. The camp will teach the basics of mountain biking, bike maintenance, safety and route finding throughout a wheelie fun week! No previous mountain biking experience required, but we do require that your child knows how to ride a bike and is familiar with handlebar brakes.**If The program is full, please register for the wait list! We are still waiting to hear back from coaches on availability, so we may have an opportunity to increase camper slots!**This camp will focus on the following: Body position and balance, braking, climbing and descending techniques, gearing and shifting, trail skills including roll downs and berms, and cornering. The Gear House will be helping with safety checks and bike maintenance throughout the week. Home base of mountain bike camp is at the Recreation Field at 30 Park Street. We'll spend the week exploring the trails, and the town of Randolph strengthening safe riding practices around town in groups. We'll also get a chance to give back to the trails and participate in some trail stewardship on the local trails! Riders will be responsible for supplying their own working mountain bike and helmet. Join us for a summer of fun at Camp Randolph! ***REGISTER FOR THE WAITLIST IF CAMPS ARE FULL!*** It is often that we are able to place kids from the wait list to fill slots in camps, and if you're not on the wait list, we won't know to add you to the registered list when the opportunity arises! If you have any trouble processing registration, being added to the wait list or have other questions reach out to Morgan@randolphvt.org or call 802-728-5433 x18**Reach out for scholarship assistance. Through the registration process, you will be asked about scholarships, and we will be reaching out in the next week with more information.**Dates: July 7 - Aug 8 (5 Weeks)Ages:  6 – 12 (Grades 1-5)  Camp Hours:  7:45am – 4:45pm  (Structured activities will not start until 8:45am)Location: Park Pavilion at 30 Park Street in Randolph. For many years Camp Randolph has been the highlight of the summer for children in the Randolph area. The day camp is held at Randolph Recreation Area and is all about community, exploration and summer fun. With walking access to the playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, ball fields, the town pool, Library, Craft Center, and so much more, Camp Randolph is sure to create memories to last. Each week will be planned with various activities including local field trips, STEM activities, Sports and games galore and all sorts of classic camp fun. Camp Welcome packets will be sent out in early may with more details on weekly activities and more! Registration and Payment:10% payment of total camp registrations should be paid at registration, or registration can be paid in full.
