Lifeguard Certification Opportunities
We are always looking to strengthen our team of Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors! See Below for more information regarding upcoming trainings locally as well as in Berlin and Lebanon.
To sign up for a Lifeguard Certification class you must be 15 years or older and have strong swimming ability. These courses require a level of dedicated commitment to yourself, the course, and the community. The role of life guarding is a tremendous responsibility to the community's safety and well being. These course commitments require a level of dedication and professionalism that this role also requires.
Randolph Recreation can reimburse training costs only after the employee has shown commitment to the department. Each course varies slightly in costs, so make sure to visit the website of each facility offering courses for more information.
Be sure to review the Pre-requisites on the course website as they vary between the class locations. Some classes are blended online and classroom learning, with various add on options for Waterfront Certifications.
