To sign up for a Lifeguard Certification class you must be 15 years or older and have strong swimming ability. These courses require a level of dedicated commitment to yourself, the course, and the community. The role of life guarding is a tremendous responsibility to the communities safety and well being. These courses provide a good intro to the level of dedication and professionalism that this role requires.

Randolph Recreation can reimburse training costs only after the employee has shown commitment to the department after getting this certification. All Employees with proper certifications to work at the town pool has the option to be reimburse after sufficient work with the department for at least one full pay period (two weeks). Each course varies slightly in costs, so make sure to visit the website of each facility offering courses for more information.
